Duige is a subfamily of Linchuan Folk Songs, and its emergence is closely linked with Linchuan＇ s natural environment and agrarian since ancient time. Duige has been rooted in Linchuan due to its knowledge, entertainment and competition, and it has become a popular and adorable art treasure to Lingchuan farmers. In this article the author explains in detail about Linchuan Duige＇ s emergence, development, handing down, its structure of lyrics and feature of music, and demonstrates the artistic charm of Linchuan Duige. The purpose of this article is to encourage more people to explore in depth the profound Linchuan culture.
