In order to remain in existence in ever increasingly competing market, an enterprise must constantly bring the market with new products. New product development is one of the most important and risky activities of a modern enterprise. Unsuccessfulness in new product development attributes to failure to satisfy customers' requirements, too long development duration, and lack of abihty to ensure quality. A good development process is an effective way to minimize the risk of a new product development. Development process refers to all procedures, activities and decisions adopted in the course of a development from a concept to product launch.
