摘要
线切割实验课是机电本科生必修的一门专业实验课,Band5 WEDM软件具有较强的绘图和编辑能力,而且简单易学。文中提出了将Band5 WEDM软件应用于线切割实验教学,即利用多媒体教学手段,在实验室机房讲授线切割编程与加工仿真的相关内容。在实验环节,将Band5 WEDM软件直接生成的3B代码程序输入到线切割数控机床进行加工。同时以5个复杂字体的加工为例,详细讲解该软件的操作方法。实验证明,使用该软件教学效果好,并能在一定程度上提高学生的学习兴趣和创新能力。
WEDM Experiment Class is one of the main courses of machinery and electronics undergraduate course in China.Band5 WEDM software has a strong drawing and editing capabilities, and is easy to learn. In this paper, Band5 WEDM software is used in WEDM experimental teaching. By using the multimedia the teacher can teach WEDM programming and simulation of processing in Lab computer room. In the experimental stage, this method generates NC program and transmits NC codes to WEDM machine and carries out machining. At the same time as specific examples, the five complex fonts were processed. This paper explains the operations of the software in details. The experimental results show that teaching has good result by using of this software, and the software increases the student interest in learning and innovation.
