摘要
文章依据韩礼德的人际功能理论,探讨模糊限制语在美国作家弗兰纳里·奥康纳短篇小说《好人难寻》中的人际功能。通过对小说情态资源的研究,分析小说中人物之间的权势关系,有助于对小说人物形象更深层次的理解。
This paper explores the interpersonal status constructed by the hedges in Flannery O＇Connor＇s A Good Man Is Hard to Find in the light of Halliday＇s interpersonal function. On the basis of modality system, the paper intends to explore the interpersonal relationship and status between the characters in novel. It would help readers to understand the character＇s image deeply.
