摘要
吴佩孚致汪精卫函是吴佩孚研究的重要文献,它集中反映了吴佩孚当时的政治立场与主张。在日本侵略者深入国土,抗日民族统一战线已经建立,全民族神圣抗战已经形成的情况下,吴佩孚提出"中日辅车相依",主张对日和平,成立傀儡政权,并与日伪进行所谓"出山"条件的交涉,显然是与当时的抗日大局相违背的。
Wu Peifu＇s replying letter to WangJingwei is an important document for researches that reflects Wu＇s political stand. Against the background of intensifying Japanese invasion, the formation of a national united front, and the rising national morale of fighting against the Japanese invaders, Wu, in contrast, believed that ＂China and Japan rely upon each other＂, advocated making peace with Japan, and negotiated with Japanese authorities on the conditions of establishing a puppet government. He obviously failed to go with the contemporary trend of anti-Japanese campaign.
