C-type natriuretic peptide and its relationship with bone age

摘要 C-型利钠肽(C-type natriuretic peptide,CNP)是在软骨内成骨过程中具有重要作用的多肽类物质,在软骨内成骨过程中发挥重要作用,主要通过CNP内源性配体系统发挥其成骨作用。由于CNP在软骨内成骨中的特殊作用,渴望通过检测CNP来了解成骨状况及建立骨龄评估的新方法,将为临床骨龄评估提供一种更科学简便的检测手段,即通过血液检测,就可以判定和评价儿童骨骼的发育状况,可为临床及运动医学提供更科学准确的评估指标。 C-type natriuretic peptide(CNP) is a polypeptide with multiple physiological function and plays an important role in the process of endochondral ossification. The mechanism underlining the process has been investigated and approved that CNP and its endogenous ligand system play the key role in osteogenic action. Due to the special function of CNP in endochondral ossification, it is desired to create a new method to assess bone age through measuring CNP, which will provide a more scientific, simple and convenient detecting method for clinical bone age assessment. Thus, the bone development of children could be estimated through the measurement of CNP in blood, which could provide more scientific and more accurate assessment indidator for clinic and sports medicine.
