摘要
在英语教学中,教师应该先加强对学生语言能力的培养,达到一定阶段后,再对其进行语用能力的培养,以帮助学生顺利实现跨文化交际,避免语用失误。
This article intends to analyze some basic principles of speech act theory and their application in cross-cultural communication.It is concluded that in English language teaching,teachers should try to foster students' linguistic competence and pragmatic competence as well,especially the latter.
