Objective It is to approach the pathological changes feature of coronary artery in female patients with premature coronary heart disease(CHD) and its correlative risk factors. Methods One hundred and sixteen patients with CHD who were made a definite diagnosis through coronary arteriongraphy were divided into two groups according to age.Sixty-five cases were in premature CHD group and fifty-one cases were in non-premature CHD group. The correlative clinical data of the two groups were analyzed retrospectively. The pathological changes feature of coronary artery, smoking history, blood fat level,CHD family history, hypertension history, diabetes mellitus history and drinking history of the two groups were compared. Results The male rate of CHD family history and TG level in premature CHD group were both higher than those in non-premature CHD group and the differences were both significant(both P0.05).The incidence rates of hypertension history and diabetes mellitus history in premature CHD group were both lower than those in non-premature CHD group but the differences were both not significant(both P0.05).The patients in premature CHD group often onste as coronary artery syndrome(66%) and most of coronary artery pathological changes were single ramus pathological change(44%).The pathological changes in non-premature CHD group were more ramus pathological changes mainly. Conclusion Both the male CHD family history and the increased TG level might play an important role in the development of female premature CHD.
