向列相液晶中高阶衍射图像的特性 被引量:2

Characteristics of Higher-Order Diffraction Image Based on Photorefractive Grating in Nematic Liquid Crystals

摘要 研究了垂直排列C60掺杂的向列相液晶(5CB)记录光折变光栅衍射像的特性。利用二波耦合实验,以较小入射角的信号光束与参考光束在样品中干涉并形成光折变光栅。在远离样品的观察屏上可观察到高阶衍射像。对衍射像进行分析发现,信号光一侧的二阶衍射像被放大,而在参考光一侧的负一阶衍射虽没放大,但产生了180°旋转,理论分析与实验观察结果非常吻合。 The characteristics of the higher-order diffraction images of a photorefractive grating recorded in cells of homeotropically aligned nematic liquid crystal (SCB) doped with sensitizer Cs0 were studied. In two-beam coupling (TBC) experiments, one incident signal beam is in terfered with a mutually coherent reference beam within the sample at a small incident angle and the photoreffactive gratings formed. The higher order diffraction images were observed on the screen behind the sample. It was shown that the image corresponding to the second order diffraction image which is located at the side of the signal beam is magnified, and the image corresponding to the negative first order which is located at the side of the reference beam is 180° rotated. The theoretical analyses are in good agreement with the experimental results.
