Flow Cytometer has been used for quantitatively analyzing and sorting cells. It has the advantages of high speed and sensitivity, and been realized as the important tool in the clinical medicine and biological research field. This article reviewed the main structure and working principles of the flow cytometer, with its latest developments and some of the most practical applications.
