采煤工作面上、下端头是直接与上、下区段巷道相联,而且分别布置刮板输送机头和机尾,机电设备多,人员出入频繁,要求有较大的工作空间,受巷道和工作面采动矿压的影响较大,顶板活动强烈,是工作面事故多发地点。端头支护情况直接影响回采工作面的快速推进和安全生产,为保证安全高效开采,端头支架设计研究意义重大。
