摘要
小说的虚构性与自足性是现代小说发展的最基本的立足点和文本特性。而中国古典小说在虚构性方面一直没有真正意义的乌托邦小说,没有建立一个与现实世界完全断绝联系的理想世界;在自足性方面,串珠式的结构方式占了很大分量。中国受"史传"传统影响至深,把小说当史书读是一种很普遍的观念。小说和现实不分,既是读者的普遍心态,也是小说作者的普遍认识。造成中国古代小说非虚构性的直接原因是中国人的审美心理。这种审美心理不愿意承认日常生活伦理以外的东西,不愿意承认现实中背离自己的东西,所以就没有力量站到审美的高度断然放弃在小说、戏曲中满足自己现实感情的功利性要求。这成为中国古典小说发展迟缓的一个重要原因。
The fictionalization and the self-existing entity of novels,are the starting point and the text-characteristic in modern novel’s history.And,in view of the fictionalization,there were no Utopia novels in Chinese Classical novels;in view of the self-existing entity,there was not an ideal world without contacting the real world.The 'History' tradition was so strong that readers read novels as history;they regarded the things in novels were all real.Ancient Chinese Aesthetic psychology was the reason of non-fictionalization in Chinese Classical novels.They were not willing to admit anything beyond their life,anything they didn’t like,and so,writers and readers couldn’t reject utilitarianism demands which satisfied their realistic feelings.In this way,we can explain why Chinese classical novels developed slowly.
