摘要
目的:为错患者提供一个是否真正需要接受正畸治疗的诊断依据。方法:应用正畸治疗需要指数(IOTN)对口腔正畸门诊患者259例进行错畸形健康和美学部分的评判。结果:正畸治疗需要指数健康和美学部分具有显著相关性。结论:正畸治疗需要指数是临床评判是否需要接受正畸治疗一个可靠、量化的诊断指标。
To evaluate diagnostic value of Index of orthodontic treatment need （IOTN） in patients with malocclusion. Methods： IOTN was used to evaluate dental health and aesthesia in 259 outpatients with orthodontic malocclusion. Results： A good correlation was noted between dental health component scores and aesthetic component scores of IOTN. Conclusion： IOTN is a reliable tool to judge whether a malocclusion patient need orthodontic treatment.
