摘要
郑观应对中国传统的、封闭式的藏书楼文化进行了批判，介绍了西方图书馆先进的管理理念和制度，对中西藏书文化进行了比较研究，提出了建设三级制中式书院的设想。在中国近代图书馆学史上，郑观应中西藏书文化比较研究方法有着积极的进步意义。
In the history of library science of modem China, Zheng Guan - ying＇ s comparative study on Chinese - western library science has positive significance in the following ways： his critical views on the traditional Chinese enclosed library culture, his introduction to the advanced concept of management and system of library in the West and his suggestions on the establishment of three - level libraries in China.
