摘要
以4-(4-羟基苯基)-2,3-二氮杂萘-1-酮(DHPZ)、4,4'-二氯二苯砜(DCS)和4,4'-二氯二苯酮(DCK)为原料,采用分步加料的方法,合成了系列高分子量的聚芳醚砜酮共聚物(PPESKs),其特性黏度在0.40~0.61dL/g之间,解决了由于DCK活性低不适合用于聚芳醚合成的问题.采用FTIR、示差扫描量热仪(DSC)、热重分析仪(TGA)等分析手段对聚合物的结构和性能进行了表征,结果表明,聚合物的结构和所设计的一致,其玻璃化转变温度(Tg)为264~299℃,在N2中5%热失重在500℃以上,热稳定性优良;聚合物溶于N-甲基吡咯烷酮,浇铸得到透明、韧性好的薄膜,其拉伸强度高于68 MPa,杨氏模量大于0.80 GPa,断裂伸长率大于19%.
As distinguished from the conventional preparation of poly(aryl ether ketone)s by utilizing 4,4′-difluorobenzophenone,a series of poly(4-phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone)s(PPESKs) were prepared from 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)-2,3-phthalazin-1-one(DHPZ) with 4,4′-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone(DCS) and a less reactive but cheaper monomer,4,4′-dichlorobenzophenone(DCK) by solution polycondensation.The polymerization was conducted at 210℃ in sulfolane by two steps,which successfully resolved the problems resulted from the low reactivity of DCK in the nucleophilic substituent reaction.The inherent viscosities of the obtained polymers were in the range of 0.40~0.61 dL/g.The structures of the resultant polymers were characterized by FTIR and 1H-NMR.The properties of the polymers were also investigated.The polymers exhibited outstanding thermal properties.Their glass transition temperatures were in the range of 264℃ to 299℃,which is consisted with Fox Equation well.And their temperatures for 5% weight loss in nitrogen were above 500℃.The PPESKs can form transparent,strong and flexible films from their N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone NMP solution,and these films showed excellent mechanical properties with tensile strength above 68 MPa,Young's moduli above 0.80 GPa and elongation at break above 19%.Thus this kind of polymers with low cost exhibits a promising wide market and applications in composites,high temperature adhesives and insulating coatings.
