摘要
结合理论和个案研究,对双语是否会导致学习者语言发展迟缓这一热点问题进行了探讨。系统的分析表明:在双语儿童的语言发展过程中,只要有足够的语言输入量和亲子互动,双语教育不会导致语言发展迟缓;儿童越是朝着双语的方向发展,就越有可能享受认知方面的优势。
This paper tries to discuss the controversial issue whether bilingualism will lead to the delayed language development of children.Based on the theoretical analysis and a case study,it proves that bilingualism won't lead to the delayed language development of bilingual children if the children are provided with enough language input and interaction.The paper also concludes that the acquisition of two languages can be beneficial to the children's cognitive development.
