摘要
在艺术领域,某一艺术样式的"传统"往往蕴含着这一艺术的本质,戏曲的"传统"并不是已经僵死的、固定不变的"旧"传统,而是内在地蕴含着无限的生命力和创造力,是一种"活"的传统。戏曲的"传统"除了与广义的社会文化层面的"传统"一样,具有世代传承性和活态性特点以外,地域性和口头性是其最突出的特点。其中,地域性具体表现为剧种多样性和民间性,口头性则集中体现在舞台表演的口头即兴创作及剧目、技艺传承的口传心授等特点上。
In the field of arts,"traditions" of a particular type of arts often imply its very essence."Traditions" of Chinese operas are not dead or fixed;instead,they are quite "live" ones with infinite vitality and creative power.Like other social or cultural "traditions" in a broad sense,"traditions" of Chinese operas are featured by generational and living inheritance,but in addition to that,they possess two most prominent features of territoriality and orality.As the territoriality is reflected in the diversity of genres and locality of folk arts,the orality finds its expression in the verbal improvisation of stage performances,oral teaching of plays and skills.
