摘要
依据星系自转曲线,对银河系旋转速度曲线进行合理外推,并应用引力势理论,得到银河系质量分布及外围的密度分布.结合 Bahcall和 Soneira 假设的密度模型,求出银河系外围的质量,即可能的暗物质质量.同时,对密度分布曲线内推,求出可视部分可能存在的暗物质质量.用这种方法得到的暗物质晕的质量,在误差范围内与前一种结果相符。
The paper suggests that the halo mass of the Galaxy, namely, the possible mass of the dark material, could be calculated by reasonable extrapolation of the rotation velocity curve with the application of the theory of gravitational potentials according to the rotation curves of galaxies, together with calculation of the mass distribution of the Galaxy and density distribution of the halo of the Galaxy with combination of the hypothesis model of density by Bachall and Soneria to calculate the mass of the Galaxy ring. And the interpolation of the density distribution curve could lead to the mass of the possibly existing dark material of the visible parts. In turn, the total mass of the Galaxy should be calculated by the specific method of the mass luminosity with the difference between the above mass and the total mass calculated with the dynamical method. The mass calculated by this approach is fundamentally the same as calculated by the first approach in consideration of their errors, which suggests that the approach discussed is a possible way to estimate the total mass of the Galaxy dark materials halo.
