In 1813,Jane Austen wrote her famous novel Pride and Prejudice in which a very impressive female character-Elizabeth Bennet was created.After experiencing numerous readers and critics＇ examinations and criticisms,Elizabeth still captures the eyes of modern readers.The reasons lie in the fact that under the modern aesthetic standard,Elizabeth＇s personalities of beauty,perverseness and cleverness;her unremitting pursuit of her dreams and her peculiarity of being a Cinderella all help constitute her special glamour,which makes her image enduring and increasingly attractive.
