摘要
萧望之是西汉著名经学家,宣帝、元帝时期朝廷重臣。他为人正直,知人善任,于仕宦之中始终坚守儒家信念,主张以德化民,以礼待夷,在政治上颇有建树。在学术上,他博通诸经,兼采众长,注重衍经术以示政治,强调通经以致用,形成齐学与鲁学、"好古"与"趋时"融汇兼综的治经风格,称为一代儒宗,为汉代经学的发展做出了重要贡献。兰陵萧氏家族亦由此兴起。
Xiao Wangzhi was a famous Confucian teacher in West Han Dynasty.He always stick to the Confucian beliefs in his whole political life and made outstanding achievements in politics.He was proficient in all sorts of Confucian classics,and formed the unique study style and made an important contribution to Confucian in Han Dynasty.
