摘要
根据车牌区域字符的纹理特征和统计规律,应用综合纹理分析和垂直投影的车牌定位方法来进行车牌定位。首先对图像进行灰度均衡,再在最大类间方差(OTSU)二值化的基础上,用边缘检测和投影法相结合实现车牌定位和分割。经实验证明利用这种方法定位准确率高,具有很强的可行性。
According to the texture features and statistical laws of license plate characters,the integrated and vertical projection texture analysis approach is applied to license plate to position the license plate.Through image gray balance,and based on Otsu(OTSU) binarization,positioning and segmentation of license plate are achieved by edge detection and vertical projection.The experiment results show that this method has a high accuracy in positioning,and strong feasibility in application.
