定冠词“the”之新分类及相应汉译策略

摘要 根据定冠词纷繁的用法,将定冠词新分为指示定冠词、搭配式定冠词、形式定冠词,探究此三大类定冠词汉译过程中对等译法和省略译法两大基本翻译策略之应用。 Definite articles can be categorized as demonstrative definite article,collocation definite article,and marker definite article.This paper tries to explore the applicability of the two basic translation strategies of Equivalence and Omission in translating the three definite-article groups.
