摘要
元代名曰沙剌班者较多,且出自不同族源。但因重名之故,经常出现张冠李戴的现象。与修《金史》、卓具才华的是唐兀氏沙剌班,取汉名刘伯温,与时人常有诗文交谊。曾任帝师和奎章阁大学士、位高权重的是畏吾儿氏沙剌班,《元史》中对此人记载较多。此外,《书史会要》提到的善写大字的蒙古氏沙剌班,与畏吾儿氏亦恐非一人。
