摘要
采用γ-巯丙基三甲氧基硅烷(KH590)、苯基异氰酸酯(PI)和十八烷基异氰酸酯(ODI)对超细羽绒粉体进行表面疏水化改性,制备了不同改性剂处理的超细羽绒粉体。通过FTIR、TG、水接触角实验、吸湿性实验研究了改性前后羽绒粉体的结构、热稳定性以及亲疏水性能。结果表明:PI和ODI可以化学结合在羽绒粉体表面,改性后的超细羽绒粉体保留了良好的吸湿性能,表面由亲水性变为疏水性,且初始热降解温度提高了约4~7℃;KH590偶联剂处理对羽绒粉体的热稳定性、吸湿性以及亲疏水性没有明显影响。PI和ODI改性是改善超细羽绒粉与非极性基体(如聚丙烯等)界面性能,提高非极性纤维材料吸湿性的有效方法,且对于这类复合材料的热加工是有利的。
The super-fine down powder was modified by 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane(KH590),phenyl isocyanate(PI) and octadecyl isocyanate(ODI),respectively.The modified super-fine down powder was characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrum,Thermogravimetry(TG),water contact angle,moisture Absorption.The results showed that PI and ODI are chemically bonded to the surface of down powder.The down powder modified by PI and ODI has good hydrophobic property and excellent moisture Absorption capacity.The initial temperature of thermal degradation for the modified down powder increases by about 4~7 ℃.However,the modification of KH590 has no evident influence on the down powder.The modification of PI and ODI could improve the surface property of down powder and the non-polar matrix(e.g.polypropylene,et al) and increase the moisture Absorption of non-polar fiber.This modification could also favor the thermal process of the relevant composites.
