Dyeing and finishing technique of ecological textiles, also called a 'green' dyeing and finishing technique, becomes more interesting in recent years. Traditional processes of dyeing and finishing have to be reformed due to its serious environmental pollution. This thesis analyses the whole dyeing and finishing process and summarizes existing problems as well as introduces possible reformed route. In addition, the future of 'green' dyeing and finishing engineering is outlined including manufacture condition and process, environment protection etc.. The dyers should be in charge of ecological environment from raw materials to end products. For this reason, dyeing and finishing of ecological textiles are a system engineering.
