形变对Co_2MnSi合金的电子结构、磁性及半金属特性的影响

Effect of Deformation on the Electronic Structure,Magnetism,and Half-metallicity of Co_2MnSi Alloy

摘要 利用基于密度泛函理论的全势线性缀加平面波(FLAPW)方法,结合广义梯度近似(GGA),研究了[001]方向的形变对Co2MnSi合金的电子结构、磁性和半金属特性的影响.计算结果表明,当形变量c/a0为0.92~1.08时,体系仍保持半金属特性而且总磁矩为5μB/原胞,能够很好地满足Slater-Pauling规则,而超过此范围体系将失去其半金属特性且体系的总磁矩减小. Using the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave(FLAPW) method within the generalized gradient approximation(GGA),we investigated the effect of deformation along the [001] direction on the electronic structure,magnetism,and half-metallicity of Co2MnSi alloy.The results show that the system retains the half-metallicity when the deformation parameter c/a0 is in the range of 0.92~1.08,and the total magnetic moment of system is 5μB which follows the Slater-Pauling rule,while when the deformation parameter c/a0 exceeds the range,the system loses the half-metallicity and the total magnetic moment decreases.
