特色是一所学校排他性的不可撼动的优势,行业性警察院校肩扛的行业(企业)与职业双特色能否转化为优势竞争力,是值得探讨与实践的问题。铁道警官高等专科学校的发展史是新中国铁道公安教育发展史的缩影,它在60余年的办学历史中积淀了自身特色,在办学理念、培养目标、课程设置、教学模式等人才培养模式诸多环节形成了不同的历史特征,富有竞争力的办学特色仍需继续实践与探索。
Feature is an exclusive and unshakable advantage of a school.It is an issue worth discussing and practising that whether the trade（enterprise） and profession features of trade police colleges can change to be dominant competitiveness.The history of Railway Police College is the miniature of new China＇s railway police education development.In its 60-year operating,it has accumulated its own features in operating ideas,cultivating aims,course offering,teaching model,etc.The competitive features need to be continually practiced and probed.
