In western academia, the debate on the relationship between Marx and Justice has lasted over half a century. The controversy mainly involves two core issues: first, whether or not Karl Marx blamed capitalism as an unjust system,or in other words, whether Marx's theory of exploitation was based on the notion of justice;second, whether Marx's revolution and emancipation was established on the basis of historic inevitability or on the basis of the requirement and principle of justice, whether the principle of distribution according to work and on-demand principle can be understood as distribution justice principles.Concerning these two issues, the positive side and the negative side diametrically oppose each other among western Marxists. This paper first focuses on their core dispute, and then points out that Marx's standing point can be summed up as the 'justice beyond justice' after observing the contemporary equalitarian justice theory.
