摘要
张竹坡上承金圣叹,下启脂砚斋。他对《金瓶梅》的评点涉及小说创作思想与艺术等各个方面,形成了一个比较完整的理论体系,将中国小说批评理论体系推向一新高度。其中《寓意篇》是他小说专论中较为独特的一篇。他通过联想与想象,又借助训诂学的方法,索名探源,或探索人物之间关系,或探索作品中的"时日"安排,或探索人物命运与名字之关系,虽偶有牵强附会或陈腐之语,但大都随手成趣,不失为一篇"再创"佳作。
Zhang Zhupo was between Jin Shengtan and Zhi Yanzhai,two well-known literature critics in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Zhang Zhupo＇s comments on the Golden Lotus involve all aspects of novels＇ writing and contain a complete body of theories.He has pushed the theoretical system of novels＇ criticism to a new high.Connotation is quite different from his other four reviews about novels.In the review,through imagination and critical interpretation of ancient texts,he explores the relationship among characters,the arrangement of ＂time＂ and the connection between the characters＇ fates and their names.Though far-fetched or stale occasionally,it is much fun and still an excellent ＂rewriting＂ work.
