摘要
本文对新西兰2010年9月4日M7.1地震(国际标准时间)与2011年2月22日(国际标准时间)M6.3地震活动和灾害情况进行了分析,用同震位移方法计算了两次地震的地震烈度,结果表明尽管两次地震震级相差较大,但由于M6.3地震震源深度较浅,两次地震在地表的烈度相同。本文用主余震序列方法计算了两次地震的断层滑动参数,结果显示两次地震断层倾向有很大差异,这意味着M6.3级地震可能是M7.1级地震后向东扩展遇到障碍体的新破裂。
An analysis on seismic activities and hazards of M7.1 earthquake, 4th, Sep. ,2010 and M6.3 earthquake, 22th, Feb. , 2011 in New Zealand have been analyzed in this paper, and the intensities of these two earthquakes are calculated by use of co seismic displace ment method. The results show the intensities of these two earthquakes'are same in spite of the large difference in magnitude between the two earthquakes. This is Because intensities are related to source depth, while the depth of M6.3 earthquake is more shallow, only 5 kin. We also calculated the fault slip parameters of the two earthquakes by using main-after shocks sequences methods and the result show there is a large difference in the dip direction of the two faults. It suggests that M6. 3 earthquake may not be an aftershock of M7. 1 shock, but is a new rupture induced by M7.1 earthquake in the course of its extending eastward .
