摘要
我国英语教学中普遍存在着"中国文化欠缺型失语症",即在跨文化交际中,作为交际主体,中国人不但在母语文化方面有所欠缺,而且不能用英语顺利表达中国文化。原因如下含义:中外语言学均忽视语言与文化的关系;忽视目的语的文化教学;片面强调目的语文化教学,忽视母语文化教学;片面强调母语及母语文化的负迁移作用;过分强调英语的重要性;一些英语学习者排斥母语文化;英语教师的中国文化知识较为欠缺等。
Chinese-Culture Deficiency-Aphasia is prevalent in this country＇s English teaching and learning.In cross-cultural communication,the Chinese are not only deficient in their culture,but also unable to express it very well in English.The reasons are as follows： neglecting the relationships between language and culture on the part of both home and international linguistic fields;neglecting the teaching of culture of the target language;over-emphasizing the teaching of culture of the target language and neglecting the teaching of culture of native language;over-emphasizing the negative transfer of native language and its culture;over-emphasizing the importance of English;some English learners being against the culture of their native language;English teachers＇ lack of knowledge of Chinese culture.
