英国女作家多丽丝.莱辛最杰出的作品《金色笔记》,不仅体现了一个时代的风格,而且表现出一种时代精神。《金色笔记》的叙述结构采用了元小说叙事策略。该小说描述了20世纪50年代女性的生存状况和所面临的困境,并从几个不同的角度和侧面来展现主人公安娜的生活。《金色笔记》的叙述结构看似凌乱、支离破碎,实际上非常严谨,而这恰恰烘托了从分裂到整合这一主题。对该小说的形式和内容进行分析,分析作者如何通过不同的叙述方式来安排相互贯穿与映衬的故事情节。从分析主人公安娜创作的笔记入手,领略其独特的自我叙述模式,从而揭示从自我分裂到整合这一深刻主题。
The Golden Notebook,is the masterpiece of Doris Lessing,who is the famous British authoress and winner.The novel not only shows the style but the spiritual visage of that era.The narrative structure of this novel is metaphysical narrative technique.The novel is about the social living conditions and the dilemmas of females in1950s,and demonstrates the heroine＇s life from different points of views.The structure of the novel seems in a mess,but in effect very strict,which just makes the theme stand out.The paper analyzes the form and content of the novel and how the author organizes the stories from different narrative ways.Then the paper begins with Anna＇s novels,tries to understand her unique narrative modes in order to discover this theme-from self-seperation to integration.
