Influence of Compton scattering on modulation instability of magnetized plasma

摘要 基于多光子非线性Compton散射模型,研究了多光子非线性Compton散射对激光在磁化等离子体中调制不稳定性的影响。将入射光和多光子非线性Compton散射光作为形成调制不稳定性的新机制,对非线性色散方程和控制方程进行了修正,给出了由入射光和多光子非线性Compton散射光形成的耦合左旋椭圆偏振光调制不稳定性的时间增长率表达式,并进行了数值模拟。结果表明,多光子非线性Compton散射使磁化等离子体中自调制不稳定性的最大时间增长率比散射前的情况显著减小,而使等离子体截面附近处调制不稳定性的时间增长率显著增大;修正后公式与实验结果更好符合。 According to the model of the multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering,the influence of the multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering on the modulation instability in the magnetized plasma has been studied.A new mechanism of the modulation instability formed by the incident light and the multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering was given out,the nonlinear dispersion equation and control equation were revised,and the expression form of the time rise rate of the modulation instability of the coupled left-hand elliptically polarized light formed by the incident light and the multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering was given out,and it was simulated numerically.The results show that the maximum time rise rate of the modulation instability in the magnetized plasma has been dramatically decreased down than that before the multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering,and the time rise rate of the modulation instability in the vicinity of the plasma surface has been dramatically increased.
