摘要
办好开放大学,即以一个综合性大学实体为依托,充分利用现代信息技术及通讯技术平台,在较少限制的公共教育环境下,以学生为中心,以满足城乡各种类型及层次的教育需求为目标,既坚持高等教育学历建设,又积极推进非学历继续教育及公共教育服务支持的开放性高等教育机构,它必将是远程教育的发展方向。
To run an Open University well means to rely on a comprehensive university and to fully use the platform of modern information technology and communication technology.Under the public education environment with fewer restrictions,the Open University should concentrate on students,aiming at satisfying the need for different types and levels of universities in both urban and rural area.Also,it is supposed not only to insist on constructing the tertiary education,but also to develop the non-degree continuous education and open tertiary education institutions supported by public education service.The Open University is the direction of development of long-distance education.
