摘要
回顾了近半个世纪以来中国水电事业的发展，指出了加快水能资源的开发是中国经济可持续发展的要求。
The development of the hydroelectric undertakings in recent 50 years is reviewed.This paper points out that accelerating the exploitation of hydropower resources is the demands of China economic sustainable development.The development of hydroelectric construction in the beginning of 21st century is prospected.
