摘要
介绍了CMT新型焊接技术的工作原理、发展历程及发展现状。与普通MIG/MAG焊相比,CMT实现了熔滴到熔池的冷过渡,具有热输入小,无飞溅等突出优点,拓宽了普通MIG/MAG焊难以涉及的领域,适用于薄板或超薄板(0.3~3.0 mm)焊接,以及钢/铝异种材料连接等领域。CMT技术是焊接领域的革新技术,必将有力地推动焊接技术的发展及应用。
The technological principle and development status of CMT welding technology were introduced.Compared with the conventional MIG and MAG welding,cold metal transfer(CMT)welding is a modified metal inert gas welding process,characterized by low heat input and no spatter welding.CMT is fit for the wider regions in which MIG/MAG is difficult to be applied.For example,thin and ultra thin sheets (thickness of 0.3~3mm)can be welded,and steel and aluminum can be joined together because of the low heat input.CMT technology will promote the development and application of welding technology.
