摘要
对紫外激光脉冲在阶跃型多模光纤中的传输特性,包括材料色散、模式色散、非线性效应、耦合方式、光纤功率支撑能力等方面进行了理论分析和实验研究。结果表明,该光纤对ps量级脉冲的功率支撑能力有限,而对于ns量级的紫外脉冲,是一种较好的传输介质。
The object is to analyze theoretically and test experimentally the propagation characteristic of ultraviolet laser pulse in step index multimode fiber. Experimental results show that with the picosecond level output laser pulse from fiber, the power supportability of that fiber is confined. on the other hand, when nanosecond level output laser pulse passes tens of meters through fiber, It is a useable propagation medium.
