摘要
大学理念是人们对大学的理性认识、理想追求及所持有的教育观念或哲学观点。它是一个抽象的概念，包涵了大学的理想、大学的信念、大学的职责等，是指那些能够反映大学本质和规律并能对大学的发展起指向和引导作用的观念。在大学理念的形成过程中，高等教育的价值观始终起着重要的导向性作用。多元化的高等教育价值观和多样化的大学理念，将是21世纪大学的一个显明特征，追求个人、知识、社会的和谐发展将成为21世纪大学理念的价值取向。
Ideology of a university includes one＇s rational knowledge of a university, ideals and ideas or philosophical point of view. It is an abstract concept, including the ideals of the university, the faith of the university, and the duties of the university, which refer to those concepts reflecting the nature and laws of the univer- sity and also guiding the development of the university. In the process of forming the ideology of the university, the values of higher education has always played an important guiding role. The pluralism and diversity of the higher education values will be a manifest feature in the universities of the 21st century, and the pursuit of the personality, knowledge, social harmony and development will be the orientation of value ideas of the uni- versities the 21st century.
