摘要
原木定心技术在木材加工生产中广泛应用。精确定心,对提高木材利用率及经济效益是十分重要的。在分析现有定心技术的基础上,综合世界森林资源短缺及科学技术进步情况,提出原木定心技术向采用计算机扫描控制、提高精度、效益和效率方面发展是必然趋势。
Abstract Log centering technology is widely
used in woodworking productions, such as sawmilling, debarking,plywood processing and so
on. The accuracy of log centering is very important for improving utilization of the raw material
and economical efficiency through higher recovery. In optimized computerized centering with
the RAVTE PCL charger the full veneer sheets increase 5%~15%, veneer utilization increase
by 2%~15% and unusable veneer drops by up to 50%, so the economical efficiency raises 6%.
Different technological, manual, mechanical, optical and computerized centering means are
used in the world. The manual manner is being replaced by mechanical or electronic centering
technology. Computerized controlling improve the log centering accuracy greatly. The scanning
technology has clear influence on log technology. Scanners for log scanning include camera,
laser, photoelectric, inductor and so on. The laser scanning system transmits the data to the
optimizing computer for processing to determine the axis of the log, which would give the
maximum timber yield. It is necessary for laser scanners positioned in line to measure log at
more than two cross sections and many points at one cross section. The best centering way
must consider the log shape in detail with all its defects like crooks, irregularities, excessive
growth around knots, conclaves and splits etc, which results in inaccuracy of centering. It is
suggested that measured points should be increased at defect parts in order to give correct log
shape. The developing tendency of log centering technology in the world is introducing
computerized technology, high accuracy, benefit and efficiency. Mechanical manners are the
