A Remarkable Synergic Effect of Metal Phthalocyanine and High Valence Metal Salt or Oxide in the Selective Oxidation of Ethylbenzene

摘要 The liquid phase oxidation of ethylbenzene catalyzed by metal phthalocyanine(CoPc, MnPC, FePc) was investigated at an atmospheric pressure of oxygen at 100 ℃. The catalytic activity of CoPc is higher than that of MnPc and FePc. The addition of catalytic amount of K\-2Cr\-2O\-7, MnO\-2 or V\-2O\-5 to the catalytic system can lead to a remarkable increase in the catalytic activity or acetophenone selectivity, compared with those of the metal phthalocyanine and catalytic amount of K\-2Cr\-2O\-7, MnO\-2 or V\-2O\-5 used alone.
