CLASSIFICATION OF ICD-9-CM-3 IN OPERATIONS ON VALVES AND ADJACENT STRUCTURES OF HEART

摘要 探讨心脏瓣膜及瓣周手术的ICD-9-CM-3编码。通过理解心瓣膜手术的的具体手术方式,结合类目,来进行正确地手术分类。心瓣膜闭式扩张术的编码为35.0;直视下心瓣膜成形术(不伴置换)的编码为35.1;心瓣膜置换术的编码为35.2;心瓣膜球囊扩张术的编码为35.96;心瓣膜周围的手术编码为35.3;心瓣膜手术后的修复术编码为35.95,编码员在对心瓣膜手术进行编码时,应结合手术记录明确手术具体术式才能得到正确编码。 To summarize the Classification of ICD - 9 - CM - 3 in Operations on valves and adjacent structures of heart. Through grasping various operation modes of operations on valves, we can deal with the classification work. The codes for closed heart valvotomy were 35.0 ; the codes for open heart valvuloplasty without replacement were 35. 1 ; the codes for replacement of heart valve were 35.2 ; the codes for percutaneous valvuloplasty were 35.96. The codes for operations on structures adjacent to heart valves were 35.3 ; the codes for revision of valve operation were 35.95. Coders should grasp basic medical knowledge of various valves operation and read through operation records, and then they can get the right answer.
