黔西北苗族服饰作为一种物质财富和精神产品,是构成黔西北苗族传统文化的重要组成部分,其制作工艺精湛,文化内涵丰富,是穿在身上的百科全书。黔西北苗族服饰除了可以满足保暖功能之外,也是苗族人民审美理想和追求的外在体现,是苗族人民与自然环境、人文环境和谐共处的结果。
