摘要
唐宋时期孟子、颜回虽在国家祭祀、儒家道统中有其地位,但并未形成如孔子的祭祀规模,也没有形成如孔门后裔类似的优待制度,金元时期出于建立道统合法性的急迫性,政府仿照孔子建立祭祀孟子、颜回、追访优颜、孟后裔的制度,在国家推动下产生了所谓的孟子、颜回圣裔世系。
Yen Hui and Mencius had an important role in ritual,but the sacrificial scale of them cannot be compared with Confucius.Descendants of Yen Hui and Mencius were not identified and honored by imperial governments with titles of nobility and official posts.During Jin Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty,imperial governments established ceremony and Temple to worship Mencius and Yen Hui modeled after Confucius's.The descendants were identified and honored with titles of nobility and official posts for urgency of Confucian Orthodoxy.The lineages of Yen Hui and Mencius were reconstructed.
