摘要
语言与文化相辅相成,密不可分。语言是文化的重要组成部分,又受到文化的影响并由文化塑造而成。文化意识的培养是大学英语教学中的重要环节之一,也是大学英语课堂教学的重要内容。独立学院作为一种新兴的办学模式不仅在办学体制上有别于传统的高校,而且在学生方面也有自身的特点。英语课堂教学中文化意识的培养一定要根据自身特点,采取相应的方法,才能办出特色,办出水平。
Language and culture are inseparably interwoven.Language is one of the significant parts of culture and plays a very important role in it.On the other hand,language,as a reflection of culture,is influenced and shaped by culture.Training cultural awareness is therefore an important element for college English teaching.As a new pattern of college education,independent college is different from traditional college not only in education systems but also in students.Incorporation of cultural awareness into English eaching should be carried out according to its specific features so as to make good achievements.
