摘要
在图像压缩中运用分形理论是一种基于自然图像局部自相似性的有效压缩技术。文章重点介绍分形图像压缩技术理论基础——迭代函数系统,再介绍分形图像压缩编码和解码的方法,最后简单介绍分形编码的改进方法。
Image compression by the fractal theory is an effective compression technology based on local self-similarity of natural images. This paper introduces the theory of fractal image compression iterated function systems, elaborates fractal image compression's encoding and decoding methods, and briefly describes the characteristics of fractal coding combined with other tools and improved methods.
