本文讨论了在建立海平面变化曲线中,基准面的选择、潮汐成因的误差与潮位修正、海平面标志物高程确定、海平面标志物高程的变动与修正(地壳升降、沉积物均衡沉降、水均衡沉降、沉积物的压实)以及古海面标志物年龄测定的误差等问题。
Many published sea level curves from which the eustatic and tectonic effects have not been discriminated, are merely relative sea level curves, resulting in the inaccuracy of the curves and the devaluation of the papers.
This paper discusses several problems in the establishment of sea level curve, including datum selection and possible errors involved, tidal genetic error and tidal level correction, identification of the altitude of sea level indicator,displacement of the altitude of sea level indicator and its correction (tectonic movement, sedimentary isostasy, hydroisostasy, sedimentary compaction), the errors involved in dating of sea level indicator, and so on. In addition, some types of sea level curves are briefly evaluated.
