一种新的累加自动地形生成方法

摘要 提出了一种新的基于分形的累加自动地形生成方法,引入断裂形成算法作为初始的地形高度生成器,通过控制幅度和迭代次数,生成形态各异的地形轮廓,从分形理论fBM数学模型出发,使用中点位移法对初始模型进行迭代处理,生成丰富的地形细节。该方法的主要优点是自动性与可控性的结合。一方面通过断裂形成算法可以自动生成特征模板;另一方面通过控制分形参数,生成任意层次的地形细节。实验表明,使用该方法可以生成真实感较强的地形,该方法是可行且有效的。 This paper proposed a based on the fractal accumulated method for automatic terrain generation.Firstly the fault formation algorithm was considered as the generator of initial height of terrain.By controlling the iterations and amplitude,could generate different patterns of terrain contour.Then the MPD method of fractal theory which was based on fBM was used to iterate the initial model,which results in more terrain detail.The main advantage of the method was the combination of automaticity and controllability.On one hand,terrain feature templates could be automatically generated by the fault formation algorithm.On the other hand,the arbitrary level details could be produced with various fractal parameter's value.The experiments show that this method is feasible and effective,and the realistic terrain can be generated.
