Missing the Golden Age, some latecomer- small capital entered cotton textile industry with high barrier, and gradually became medium enterprise group, by vertical integration strategy. Da Cheng Textile Printing and Dyeing Group integrated dyeing and printing forward first, spinning backward then, by taking weaving industry as the strategy breakthrough. The vertical integration brought Da Cheng advantages of saving transaction costs, stabilizing trading relationship, and defending competitors. This success case is a salutary lesson to latecomer - small capital seeking to enter a industry with high barrier.
