摘要
独立学院是我国高教办学思路、体制、模式与机制的一次大胆创新,以其面向社会、市场自主办学,设置社会和市场所需要的学科专业,合理定位,注意学生就业等优势,在已有的高教发展体系与模式中,寻找到了自己的发展空间。本文以浙江大学宁波理工学院高分子材料与工程专业建设为例,通过增加硬件投入、加强师资队伍、优化培养方案、完善实践体系四个方面的实践与探索,使专业建设初具规模并取得了成效。自2006年首届毕业生以来,连续四届毕业生就业率保持在90%以上,2007年被列入宁波市重点建设专业。从加强教材建设;尝试开展专业网站建设;增加学生实践能力培养和创新精神激发;培养造就双师型教师;设置硕士点甚至博士点建设特色专业等方面,提出了独立学院高分子材料与工程专业建设的思路与措施。
Independent institute is a novel kind of high education which developed rapidly in the recent years due to its characteristic of self-establishment education system, flexible adjustment to the society and market, and paying more attention on the employment of the graduates. Specialty construction is foundation of teaching construction for higher education. In the recent years, practice and exploration from four aspects of increasing hardware devotion, strengthening teacher procession, optimizing cultivate scheme, modifying practice teaching system were performed the polymer material and engineering specility of Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, and made this specialty to achieve some scale and become a key speciality of Ningbo city. The rate of employment keeps at a high level of over 90~//00 since its first graduates at 2006. Several suggestions, e. g. strengthening the teaching materials, establishing professional website teaching system, increasing students practical training, cultivating the spirit of innovation, cultivating double-qualified teachers, and set the master's degree or doctorate degree unit,are proposed for the further the speciality construction of polymer materials and engineering in the independent institutes.
