摘要
桐城派作为清代作家最多,影响亦是最大的一个散文流派,有人据方苞标举"学行程、朱之后,文章韩、欧之间"的人生导向,据此分析桐城派在学理上是墨守程朱理学,在古文创作上亦是因袭韩欧古文之法。笔者拟从桐城派兴衰的发展轨迹分析,明显地看到桐城派在发展中的各阶段的代表人物在程朱理学单纯以伦理道德来规范人们行为的同时,又能积极地开拓创新,在文学创作理论、思想认识上吐故纳新,尤其在古文价值的重新定位方面,开出新的格局。
Tongcheng School with its longest time span is the most influential as well as the largest prose school in Qing Dynasty.Based on Fang Bao's life orientation "Follow Cheng and Zhu's philosophical thoughts and ethics and learn from Han Yu and Ou Yangxiu's prose style",Tongcheng School conforms to the Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism and inherits the writing style of Han Yu and Ou Yangxiu.The author gives an analysis on the course of the development of Tongcheng School with its wax and wane.It manifests itself that the representatives in different stages not only make innovations beyond the code of Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism,but also develop new theories of literary production and new understanding from the old.Particularly,Tongcheng School's reposition of the value of the ancient Chinese prose endows Fang Bao's life orientation with even greater significance.This,to a large extent,symbolizes the changes made by Tongcheng School.That is to say,Tongcheng School makes a breakthrough while defending the old philosophy and art.
